FAQ
Questions about City
Do I need a driving licence for a NOVA?
For the Lite series (Aero, Glide, Pop) you do not. They are limited to 25 km/h with a 250 W rated motor, which keeps them outside RTO registration and licensing under current Indian rules. Pro and City models are high-speed scooters and need registration, a number plate, insurance and a valid two-wheeler licence.
How long does the battery last?
Our lithium packs are designed for around 1,500 charge cycles before capacity drops to 80%. For someone riding 30 km a day, that is roughly five to six years.
Can I charge at home?
Yes. Every NOVA comes with a portable charger that plugs into a normal 5 A or 15 A home socket. No special wiring is needed.
Can I ride in the rain?
Yes. The battery and motor are sealed (IP67 on most models). Avoid riding through water deeper than the footboard, and let the scooter dry before charging.
What does the warranty cover?
Battery: 3 years or 30,000 km. Motor and controller: 3 years. Frame: 5 years. Tyres, brake shoes and bulbs are wear parts and are not covered.
Is there a government subsidy?
High-speed models may qualify for central or state EV incentives depending on the scheme in force when you buy. Our dealer will show the on-road price with any applicable benefit.
